I have been renting homes for years. I have always wanted to be a homeowner but I was financially unable to supply the down payment that was required. Carolina group afforded me the opportunity to fufill my dream of becoming a homeowner. I thank God for them with all my heart! It feels good that I have something to give my children one day. First, giving honor to my Savior Jesus Christ, We were on the verge of being homeless. We needed to move out of the house we were renting. We tried to rent other houses, but our credit score was too low. We tried for two weeks to find a place to stay. Each time, we were turned down. The last name on our list was Carolina Group. They had a house available in Elizabeth City. We looked at the house. We were told that we could BUY the house with a low credit score. We are not paying rent; We are buying our home! Thanks to Carolina Group, our savior, We can see the the sun on the other side of the cloud.

Buying a house from Eric Scott was very fast, easy and stress free.   We called and set a time to meet at the house we wanted to buy and a week and a half later we were moving in.  I couldn’t believe it.  Moving in so fast I had to ask what was the catch.   But there is no catch.  Signed the paperwork and moved in.   He helped us out from start to finish with any questions we had.   He even worked with us on the down payment!!    Great guy, great personality, treats you like family!!!

After spending quite some time searching for a house and applying for a mortgage and not being able to qualify for antthing, a family member introduce us to Carolina Group.  Once we went online and inquired about their services we came to agreement that we should contact them.  We applied and within days we were approved.  This program is good for the customers that may have credit problems or not a sufficient down payment.  They are willing to give the average "joe" a chance at the "American Dream" owning your own home.  Being a newlywed couple and wanting to own our home, we are glad we contacted them.  The process for applying was easy and understandable.  We are looking forward to starting a new life in our new home.
